The ingredients for your evening meal are just as important as they are for breakfast and lunch.

Try to choose food from these food groups:

1. Fruits and vegetables for protection from illness
2. Protein for repair and building new muscle
3. Carbohydrate staples such as rice or bread for energy

All three are equally important for a healthy and active life. And you need to be in tip-top condition when you want to succeed in sports such as football.

It’s important to chew your food fully to get as much goodness out of it as possible. Chewing fully makes you eat more slowly, which makes overeating less likely.
