G4S Events has been providing security and stewarding to Burnley FC for over fifteen years. During your visits to the ground you may have seen the bright yellow jackets worn by G4S stewards and security staff with ‘Here to assist you’ on the back

G4S staff fulfil a number of tasks each match day to keep you and your family safe so you can enjoy each match:

oG4S staff are ‘here to assist you’ and help supporters by giving information and directions.

oThey maintain fan safety by making sure that the rules made by Burnley Football Club and the Football Association are understood and followed by everyone.

oThey are responsible for entrances, walkways and exits to help you enter, walk around the ground easily and safely, and help you leave by the most appropriate route

The partnership was launched at Burnley’s match with Sunderland on Saturday 19th September 2009 with an on pitch presentation between the Burnley Football Club Chairman, Barry Kilby and G4S Managing Director, Mark Hamilton. See picture above.
