Andrew Scott (6) from Littleborough
I supported Coventry City as a kid because I’m from Coventry and that is where my dad used t take me to watch. I still keep an eye out for their results, there’s still a bit of feeling there.
Do you look forward to games against Preston?
Joe Elliott (10) from Cliviger
Yeah I do, because they’re big derby games and therefore great games to play in. The atmosphere is good and they’re usually good games of football.
And does it make a difference that you played for Preston for so long?
No. It was a bit weird the first couple of times but it’s been fine this season.
Robbie Blake answers your questions
Maya Ings (9) from Derbyshire
It’s been really good. It’s been the first major cup run I’ve been on in my career. I haven’t had much luck in them, so I’ve really enjoyed it. Plus I’ve enjoyed playing in the in midfield, in the centre; the manager moved me there. It’s been a great season so far but hopefully it will get better…..
How do you keep yourself so fit to be able to play every single minute of every game this season?
Harvey Macadam (8) from Burnley
I just try to prepare myself right; eat the right food, drink lots of water, do lots of stretching. I’ve been lucky with injuries, so that helps, and I try and train hard every day with the rest of the lads.
Do you think you'll play another season for Burnley?
Ewan Macadam (10) from Burnley
I hope so. The manager has been speaking to me about a new contract. Hopefully we can get that sorted and then I’d love to be here. I’ve really enjoyed it here. The lads are great to play with and the staff are great too.
Do you want to be a Manager? and if so, do you want to manage Burnley one day ? (ps- I think you would be a brilliant manager)
Thomas Hampson (11) from Preston
Graham laughs: Is that one of my kids that sent that in? I definitely do. I’m taking my coaching badges and I definitely want to stay in the game as a coach or a manager. If the opportunity comes up, obviously once I’ve stopped playing, then you never know. I could be the future manager of Burnley or whoever. It’s definitely something I want to do.
What is your favorite pop group?
Hannah Scott (11) from Littleborough
My favourite pop group at the minute is The Killers.
Would you do a song for everyone at the player of the season awards with Steve Thompson playing the guitar?
Nicky Unwin (13) from Nelson
Would I do a song? Absolutely no chance. I had to sing when I first joined the club. That was the first time I ever sang in my whole career. So no, no chance. Tommo can do it on his own because he’s really good at singing and playing the guitar.
Who is the funniest person in the changing room and why?
Peggerz (13) from Rossendale
There’s a couple of lads who really make me laugh. Robbie Blake is a very funny guy, Steven Jordan is a bit crazy. He can make you laugh, and Alan Mahon – he’s a funny lad as well. So any one of them three I find myself chuckling at quite a lot. But to be fair there’s quite a few, there’s a right good bunch in the changing room and we have a good laugh all together.
Did you like doing maths at school?
Andrew Scott (6) from Littleborough
I actually did because it was the only one that I was actually good at. So I really enjoyed it. I don’t know why, but it was the one I actually had a talent for.
